One can say it is an illusion. Or, one can say that our senses interpret input into showing us a world that we think is being seen in real time, but is always representative of what already happened. If there is an entangled quantum reality where "now" really is now, then that is what would be real, as in real time. We are not designed for it. We can only recognize a very tiny sliver of what is, adn that is what we believe is real, even though it is a functional illusion.

The worst part about that truth is, if you don't believe in that illusion, the one who gets stigmatized for being the evil one is you.
