"Hypocrisy" is a weak criticism of historical figures.

Tell that to the slaves. Especially, when the revolutionary war was fought to preserve slavery.

We have slaves today. The constitution forbids slavery, except in prisons.

And then there is also the slavery in foreign nations making our clothes and electronics.

We're ALL modern day hypocrites.
