Some would say our presence around the world stablizes regions for our benefit as well as theirs.

And many, many, many others would disagree. Especially the people in Iraq, Yemen, Iran, Syria, and most of central and south America.

But you're right, I'm sure those with huge unquestionable power over us are working for the great good of everyone and aren't just selfish power-seekers. You're probably right

So there is no difference between Trump and Clinton because the people in the Middle East and South American are aggrieved by US intervention. I get it.

I never said there is no difference at all, I just said the difference is so minuscule that the significant policy matters wouldn't be affected. That's what the deep state is, that's why the military-industrial complex embedded itself within the government. That's why the US has been at war 210+ years of it's 240 years of existing. And why the war economy makes up almost 1/3 of the US economy.

War cannot stop or else the economy collapses. So they create reasons for war. And lots of people suffer as a result.
