Dumbdown has been underway at least since Spanish philosopher Michael Servetus and Italian mathematician Giordano Bruno were burned at the stake in the 16th Century .. the dumbdowners have replaced Eratosthenes who computed the circumference of the Earth, the way of the seasons and the tilt of the Earth's axis in 276 BC, with Carl Sagan & Stephen Hawking neither of whom knew their ass from their elbow and droogs from the Flat Earth Society.
