They had authoritarianism as something in common, but they were hardly similar.

Ironically, despite being right-wing, National Socialism had themes that were kind of close to Marx's ideals, like the working class having a certain relevance economically, while the communist regimes, despite supposedly fighting for Marx's ideals, ended with a ruling oligarchy having tyranical power over society...

I think the communist regimes were made that way to demonize collectivism and the idea of there being good authorities. To me they were something more akin to hyper-capitalist systems than what Marx described a socialist regime to be economically.

Yeah I didn't mean they were similar ideologically, hence 'opposite' sides of the coin, but in terms of the power dynamics of centralizing market powers and vesting them in the government leading to authoritarianism and tyranny when this has been attempted with either right or left wing flavors

Yeah, I think both ideologies were an attempt to solve the problems they saw in capitalism, which most certainly exist. I think Marx's critiques of capitalism were more or less correct, though I think there are some issue with his prescriptions for these problems

He had a realistic economic view of society. But that's as far as good as his views go. Marx was a lunatic all right and a self-hating Jew.

He was an obese Talmudic Jew related to the Rothschilds.
