Most people don't read books and I think shaming them over it is counterproductive. Most people don't burn books and that seems far, far worse.

Most people find out the stuff they need to know from books whether they like it or not. See how many ideas from 1984 are common knowledge even though most people haven't read it.

Turn the page, wash your hands. Turn the page, wash your hands. And then you turn the page, and then you wash your hands.
