If Russia wanted it switched off, well, they already succeeded because it was switched off.

Russia had the option of switching it back on. That gave them leverage over Germany: drop the sanctions and the gas starts flowing again.

America has cancelled Russia's option. A rather valuable option.

The ruzzia needs NS2 activated. It is a life or death situation for the ruZ economy.

No sir. The ruzzia did not have the option of switching on NS2. Because Germany never certified the pipeline and it was never active. If ruZ had that option, to switch on NS2, they would have used it a long time ago.

Germany does not want ruZ gas anymore. That is not leverage that ruZ had over Germany. Nobody is dropping sanctions. EU sanctions cannot be dropped by Germany alone, without Poland and Baltic and Czech approval which will never come.

America had absolutely no need to blow up NS1. Only the ruzzia had the motive to put pressure to certify ns2. Only the ruzzia regularly fucks around on the seafloor, cutting cables and whatnot. Only the ruzzia is regularly using terrorism for politics. Only the ruzzia deployed their mouthpieces to say America did it, including their UN secretary.

US has all the motive to do this bombing. We now get to sell our gas at a higher price to Europe. Why would Russia sabotage it's own pipeline when they don't need it as a false flag to do some attack? they already are conscripting 300k for the war they are in now. Not to mention, they can't sell gas they can't move. And it's billions of dollars of investment, and now millions in repair needed. To get NS2 approved by bombing NS1 is the dumbest idea i've heard yet.

So...why wasn't it Nigeria or Lebanon? They also sell gas to Europe. Why did you decide America did this act of undersea terrorism and not the terrorist state who has a long track record of fucking around under the sea.
