Power is more pressure-like (so "loss" of energy through dissipation and friction). Precision and speed can achieve the same effect with less energy. Imho.

So it is somewhat congruent but not totally, i believe.

I guess I was thinking of power in terms of control, instead of output.

"Power is nothing without control". That was an advertisment slogan from Audi sometime ago, if i remember correctly.

But this makes no sense in the context i see it.

And since the English language is very fuzzy on power itself ("might", "responsibility" or/and "force" ?!?), maybe i should have thought about it longer beforehand.
