My mother used to berate everyone that used the Internet. When the Internet went from mostly academic and government use to wide civilian acceptance and use my mother refused to even attempt to use it. Whenever someone would say something about it her knee jerk response was "that damn internet". When the grandkids talked about applying for jobs on it she would berate them and tell them to go out and fill out paper applications where they wanted to work. When someone pointed out the job application computers to her in the store she would pretend they didn't exist. Yup. Seen this shit first hand.
