However, IMO the existing education system (both public and private) is the most pernicious brainwashing system. It's much easier to fool someone, than convince someone that they've been fooled.

Opioids don't help either.

Antidepressants have their place. It's easy to criticise the numerous failings of prescribing antidepressants. However, it's preferable to going to your battle buddy's closed-casket funeral, because he stopped taking them.
