    Thanks for the skepticism/caveat/exception note. The quote is good to be applied in many cases, but I too could think of countless examples where it would fail. I hoped it might be motivational where reasonable and rejected where not. I didn't expect 10 votes. I'm glad you poked a hole in the binary all or nothing thinking of this generally just-okay quote. As you outlined, we need more critical thinking explained for readers to learn from - and less hero/authority worship.
