Pretty sure he's just a boomer liberal who shitposts their facebook crap here.

Be a pretty crap troll if he's spreading a message of peace and harmony across the site.

"Sorry comrade EndlessSunflowers, you haven't met your discord and distraction quotas for three months in a row. Off to the organ farm for you."

[–]Jesus 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Stop. Did you even read the pyramid of debate? I actually agree with a lot of what you post or at the very least find it interesting when it isn't muddled with fallacies. Do you want to get banned or something?

[–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

For g*d's sake, its a darned joke, am I not even allowed joke here now?

[–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I've also agreed with them both. They are both my "friends", as are most in these comments so far, oddly.

Low on the pyramid of debate

    [–]wrongthink 3 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

This repeated comment that you always make is starting to itself seem pretty low.

    [–]Jesus 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Can repeat it as much as I want. As long as it's context makes sense, and it does.

It's a joke? You are calling him A shill with zero evidence.

      [–]Conductive-rabbi 2 insightful - 5 fun2 insightful - 4 fun3 insightful - 5 fun -  (0 children)

      Ok Jesus

It's a joke? You are calling him A shill with zero evidence.

I didn't even call him a shill, I just included the How To Spot Shills link for stylistic effect.

      [–]Conductive-rabbi 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

      😮

      [–]Jesus 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

You implied it. And your source is awesome. But don't try to link Endless with this. Provide evidence.

      [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 4 fun2 insightful - 3 fun3 insightful - 4 fun -  (2 children)

AM I NOT ALLOWED TO EVEN JOKE AROUND THESE PARTS ANYMORE? THE 'FUNNY' BUTTON DOESN'T EXIST FOR NOTHING?!

      [–]JasonCarswell 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (6 children)

      I need proof.

Just because someone has different views or doesn't answer your messages doesn't make them a shill or a Chinese agent.

I also need proof that you're from the "Saidit Bureau of Defense".

      [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

      Its a joke

      [–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

Obviously not very funny. Some of my "funny" memes landed worse. But I wasn't ever "attacking" other users as a joke.

      [–][deleted] 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

      attacking in quotes

Uhhhhhhhh, I think you were supposed to place the word joke in quotes?

      [–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Uhhhhhhhh, it's not my joke and it's still not funny. You called it a joke, not a "joke".

Also, not that you need to be beaten down further, unless you missed it, this is for the readers - not only is it in poor taste to attack other users as a joke, but it's also a very sensitive matter calling someone a shill - especially on SaidIt (I could explain why, but you already know (thus your lame "joke"), and it's another tedious paragraph).

I try to keep my accusations of shillery to an absolute minimum, have citations and/or examples of fallacious logic as well as the posibility of them simply being profoundly ignorant and/or stubbornly tribally dogmatic despite my attempts to counter their perceptions. I'm far from perfect, sometimes my words aren't clear enough, and I may even impart anger and not suffer fools well - but there's always a reading audience, and more than half of my efforts are for them. Back to my point: shill-calling is fighting words. Always try to give yourself, and them, an escape out. (ie. "You are a shill or you are an ignorant purveyor of misinformation, willfully or not.")

      [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Uhhhhhhhh, it's not my joke and it's still not funny. You called it a joke, not a "joke".

Yes, I called it a joke, and for grammatical purposes, since you are replying to my comment, you still need to enclose anything said by [anyone you're replying to] in "" or ''.

Also, not that you need to be beaten down further, unless you missed it, this is for the readers - not only is it in poor taste to attack other users as a joke, but it's also a very sensitive matter calling someone a shill - especially on SaidIt (I could explain why, but you already know (thus your lame "joke"), and it's another tedious paragraph).

      you already know

      I don't?

      Good point, I concede.

      [–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I agree, capitalization, spelling, and grammar are important. Were everyone here so fastidious. Personally, I like to enclose anything of length in spaced quotes AND italics to make extra clear that I am " replying to [their] comment " - but not typically for a word or few. That's my personal style, for thine Interwebs. I don't need to but I choose to.

I wouldn't throw grammatical stones in glass houses, if I were you. "Its a joke" should be "It's a joke."

      " Especially on SaidIt. "

As you know, Reddit is the corporatocracy's propped up "mainstream" news aggregator forum, for better or worse. Many people there either engage in group think or are censored. Heavily. There is an information war. It's easier to control people's minds (ie. COVID & collapse) than to round them up and steal from or do violence on them. Fifth generation warfare is where the targets don't even know their misfortunes were engineered. The information war is perpetual, but now and then it takes a huge step (ie. 9/11, COVID, etc). SaidIt is a forum for truth-seeking and there is no shortage of info-warfare happening here, due to political tribal dogmatism, ignorance, infiltration, misinformation, disinformation, and/or simple shill naysayers. SaidIt is a battleground for exposing power, lies, and corruption.

Calling someone a shill may be common enough around the Interwebs, but on SaidIt, where morals, truth, and a modicum of honour are valued above the vices of avarice, rewards, and "glory" - and for many here, calling one a shill is paramount to calling them a traitor to all the things they hold dear. Especially all in titles.

I'd be astounded if you didn't already know this. I was astounded to see your "joke", for I had already marked you as a "friend" because I was impressed and respected previous comments you'd made. In this way my "friends" names all stand out as red and I can often read them first - and above the fray remember their name and consider them an ally, if not on all things at least on most. Sometimes I have to "unfriend" folks who disappoint me. The don't become my enemy or any silly thing like that, but they are remembered for not being "quality", IMO. It would be a shame to see you slip from my "friends" list. Also, FYI, /s/friends is your user feed of what all your friends are up to. I don't use mine nearly as much as I ought to.

"Loving your enemy" is actually much older than you'd expect: Just look at a https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mistletoe .

It is a bilateral relationship actually.

There are trees full of them but they never drain their host tree till he dies no matter how many of them are on one specific tree. (Now explain that one...hehe)

And there are relatively specific breeds of small singing birds that build their nests into mistletoes preferably.
