I really dislike that this whole "don't vote" ideology is becoming more popular. I feel like it's a CIA psyops. If voting didn't matter, why do you think TPTB worked so hard to stop women and POC from doing it?

Perhaps on a national level, things are so fucked it's going to be impossible to enact real change in my lifetime.. but on a local level, it definitely matters. And I'm not even sure that on a national level it's pointless. I mean, love them or hate them, groups like the Tea Party and Libertarians and the Green Party changed the discourse of the nation. People like AOC as well. Even if you're ideal political group doesn't get complete and unlimited power to go in and make all the changes you want them to make, if they can get their voice heard they can move the overton window.

So yah, I do think this whole "don't vote" is disinformation. Or false information. And I think it's harmful. And probably started by those in power right now who don't want to lose power, so they want to discourage people from voting.

Or maybe I'm just naive. Hell I don't know.

How many elections does it take for people to notice that corrupt sleazy corporate politicians
don't & won't give a damn about anyone or anything besides themselves and their money?!?

Yeah I agree with the other guy. Fuck your CIA psyops. Now one wants to abolish local governments so they can be replaced by feds.
