But mosquitoes get squashed and don't make much of a difference...

Tell that to the people who've died from malaria.

So, the real lesson is to be a swarm . . . and carry viruses?

Is this a serious question? Absolutely the key to life is to swarm and carry diseases... like name three situations that couldn't be handled with swarming and diseases.

Viruses = ideologies, religions, ideas.

I can't. I'm too drunk on gin and tonic used to eradicate malaria.

[–]radfem 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Actually it was just the tonic that was used to cure malaria, the gin was added for taste purposes. Meanwhile not so effective on yellow fever, dengue, Zika, West Nile, or Encephalitis.

Fun times with mosquitoes.

Those little bastards have a higher body count than Atilla.
