HaHa I think they can afford it. Those soulless fat cats sitting on piles on money that they don't need and could never spend, would never miss it. But it is really amazing when regular joe's defend those fat cats and their endless desire for more more more LOL poor manipulated suckers

You have the mind of a child and lack comprehension of the ways of the world. Or, more likely, you are a paid shill.

david rockefeller was a commie. yet the rockefellers are and always were ultra exploitative. and not many are fatter cats with a bigger pile of money.

communism was created by the jesuits to enslave the masses, as we can see from every single implementation of it; no exceptions.

The problem is those fat cats would rather spend that money on highly trained security than give a dime of it to us.

This quote assumes there is a finite supply of money.

Banksters print trillions in free money with 0% interest for their friends, when it suits their interests.

Margaret Thatcher was a puppet just like the rest.

ofc they will never print money to pay off the national debt. i think it's mostly done to generate inflation, which is a form of taxation

The US should print an new currency and pay the "national debt" back in the same way that it was created.

absolutely. back to greenbacks basically

[–]Jesus 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Greenbacks were a lie backed by debt bonds. Lincoln was a conman who was used to create the National Bank Act and the lesgislation to enact the Federal Reserve. We should have Indepedent state treasuries where congress is enstated to have the ability to control the moeny supply. Our money should be Gold and SIlver and fiat money disbanded as with it money speculation.

Well put Tom, the quote nears insignificance when you realize the fiat money system is the back bone of most 'isms'.

I thought that was the problem of banks.

[–]proc0 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I don't think that's main problem. Political systems amount to different strategies for wielding power. Communism is centralized power, while capitalism is DE-centralized power. What is the problem with extreme centralization? Unless you believe humans are perfect, it's just a matter of time someone corrupt will be wielding that much power (i.e. see history).

Heh I like that version best

Then the gov't should stop bailing out companies like the "too big to fail" banks, with literal trillions of dollars.

Socialism for the rich, cutthroat capitalism for the poor. Seems to be the US system. I guess it's easy to organize when corporations have hijacked the government

And in capitalism you keep spending anyway
