The concept of a negotiation game is correct because negotiation happens in Good and Bad Faith.

A good faith negotiation game involves both people equally participating and coming to a compromise.

A bad faith negotiation game involves only one side participating or one side participating more than the other. This leads to what is known as the Prisoners Dilemma.

Bad faith negotiation can lead to people getting killed.

But I do agree with you: In a good relationship both partners should get what they need to fulfil their physical, emotional, and mental needs.

So this is where the negotiation game becomes tricky. Although the negotiation game is between two people, you can get other people to help you: notably friends, workmates, and family. There is also a persons occupation which can establish 'good faith', for example, a doctor or teacher would probably be honest in their dealings with you.

That why I write down a rule on here should be promoted.

I dont understand what you mean by this. Could you explain it please?

That could work. But wouldnt that mean that both people just become friends instead of being in a relationship?

Although, being friends is also a kind of relationship.

The problem is when one person has misjudged ('miscalculated') or over-estimated another persons interest in themselves. You are right that people should be taught to not be so selfish after courtship fails, but people who think they have been wronged become angry and angry people are not rational.

Maybe a less angry society is the best preventative measure.
