They were neutral but certain bankers and families in Switzerland did fund National socialism and German industry, which wasn't unfounded when Hitler and his economists decided to privatize banks for a rearmament program.

There is a lie today that Hitler was funded extensively by either the warburgs, Rotschilds, the latter a lie, and big industrialists. The problem is the funding was nowhere close to the opposition groups to NSDAP and the marxist groups. The internationalists detested Hitler and National Socialism. And it goes without saying that Hitler became who he was because of the Treaty of Versailles. If that hadn't been imposed Natioal Socialism would not have risen to such great heights.

In the Pool's book on Hitler's funding as well as a french banned book in America, it illistrates that NSDAP was largel funded by dues, and membership payments as well as by poor and middle class Germans.

Thank you for the info. History is written by the victors, eh? I had the opportunity to read some letters from that time (translated) from families in Germany to their relatives in the US. They talked about how bad things were, like no water or bread. Then Hitler can along and things got better. It was strange to read how they praised him.
