Yes well get your head out of your ass long enough to realize, when you have government policies that prevent people from going about their livelihoods and you don't address that in a timely and effective manner. People will revolt and it can get very ugly.

Think of the French revolution. Was that a "right wing" event? What about the American revolution? What that right wing?

Only a stupid American pundit would classify the armed overthrow of the government as "right wing".

It sounds like the whole town mostly agrees on the major issues of the day, which are inherently local, like operating rules for retail businesses. It's not the legitimate role of The Guardian (or the New York Times, which published its own version of this "story") to just declare the whole town "far right." They're sticking their noses where they don't belong.
