Here's some more propaganda

Thank you! It's like it's sung by a chorus. Who's conducting it all...

Naomi Smith, a sociologist at Federation University Australia who has researched covid misinformation, said such tweets risk planting “seeds of doubt” at a time when medical professionals are urging the public to obtain booster shots.

No honey... it's not the tweets doing that, it's the unprecedented amount of athletes dropping like flies.

No one's disputing it doesn't happen, it's the amount of athletes that are dropping is unprecedented.

The study I linked shows that myocarditis scarring of the heart makes it more vulnerable to trauma hits like that tackle.

I agree, the sheer volume of deaths and near-calls is way, way beyond normal - and it ain't covid doing it.

I like how rather then dispute the "misinformation" she just accuses Twitter about spreading said information. I guess that's just easier.

If she wants to change people's minds about the vaccine then do the work to disprove what you disagree with and publish that. (I'm referring to something like that recent graph/article going around talking about how many pro athletes have died in the past two years.)

Come up with solid evidence of how that's a shame and write an article about that. The only way you could ever hope to change someone's mind at this point is with solid evidence.

Experts baffled by what caused it. Experts agree it certainly wasn’t the vaccine,

All these players know they could and someone will be next. That's what they are praying for, not to be next. I hate to sound glib, but I've been waiting for this, and I hope it happens way too many times to not be considered a coincidence by a useful idiot.

ANY CHANCE THIS COUNTRY HAS AT REAL PUSHBACK HINGES ON MANY OF THESE PLAYERS SUFFERING THE SAME FATE. SADLY.

Nobody cares when innocent children are blown up in the name of making Dick Cheney rich, so fuck this sportsball asshole and the rest of them too.

Soon, Aaron Rodgers will be playing all by himself.

I made a joke about it being the jab, to my coworker who told me about this incident.

It's not the jab. This happened to kids playing little league since forever. It happens, and it's rare and it sucks but it happens. Pro tip: don't get slammed in the chest.

Pro tip - it rarely happens to adults, as their chests are fully developed, so go ahead and get slammed - but DON'T get slammed if you've ever suffered myocarditis, which leaves scars on the heart that leave you vulnerable to trauma: https://substack.com/inbox/post/94528094

maybe it's rare because it requires an extremely specific set of rare circumstances

[–]Bigs 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Rare in adults because their chest walls are fully developed. So unless you're saying this Hamlin guy had an underdeveloped chest..?

[–]iamonlyoneman 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Rare in adults because they are usually not struck extremely hard in exactly the wrong location at exactly the wrong portion of the cardiac cycle

Cope harder?
