They just want to eliminate private gun ownership in the US. Rhinos and Dems are leading the charge.

Kinda weird seeing that Canada trails the US in annual death rate by only 3 spaces and yet we only had 1 massacre in that time frame and it was with a knife, not a gun.

Firstly, snopes is not a reliable source but they must be right some of the time. I will check on this.

Yeah, I know. But this study seems so skewed in its definition and parameters that I figured Snopes is just it's mirror image.

I will have time to check on this tomorrow. You may be right that some official statistics were fudged but it is certain that many of the US so-called shootings were only drills so the government could try to stage a gun grab at some future time. But I will not use that as an excuse if the web site numbers turn out to be shady. I believe the web site is new and may have built in pitfalls to catch the unwary. I think your catch was a good one.
