He did it to himself when he created and published the lies in "Collateral Murder". He claimed the militia were just innocent photo journalists, when you could see their weapons in hand right in the video. The helicopter showed up because they had just been shooting at soldiers down the street.

There's not anything in the world he could do after that to become a credible person.

One of the guys in the Collateral Murder video was holding a weapon, and that justifies gunning down the whole group including two journalists? Carrying a firearm in Baghdad is pretty common. Honestly if that's the best you've got it makes a great case for Assange and his journalistic integrity. None of Wikileaks releases have been proven false or retracted.

Several were carrying RPGs and Ak-47s. They had just attacked soldiers down the street. So yes, that makes them legitimate targets, whether one of them was carrying a camera or not.

Point is, you can see them in the video where he lies in annotation overlays saying they're innocent journalists. His big lie is the whole point of the video he made, and then released.
