I'm old enough to remember the political commentary and rhetoric right after 9/11, and how we had to virtually throw out the Constitution, censor speech, arrest protesters, limit travel, otherwise the "terrorists would win".

Now I'm seeing not just the same rhetoric, but the actual policies play out for real. Even during the height of the terrorism scare, I never saw such massive censorship, in defense of disinformation, as I do now. Actual doctors are being censored because some faceless drone working at a tech company doesn't like what they have to say...about medical science.

These are disturbing times we live in.
