Okay. Lets do that.

From Iceland we know that 86% vaccination rate isn't enough to contain delta. I think that that was suspected already. They seem to be targeting something around 90%. Having said that Delta hasn't killed anyone in Iceland. So the vaccinations are containing the symptoms, if not the spread.

Gibraltar is probably a similar story. They've got a almost 100% vaccination of the locals, but the majority of people who go there every day are Spaniards commuting across the border.

So when someone says "I question that" they mean that they're not convinced that it is true.

It doesn't mean that there are specific questions that they have asked.

In this case, I don't think that Fauci is lying. I think that Delta is able to reproduce and spread more in the vaccinated that previous mutations. (Lambda is causing some problems in the South of the USA as well).

But people aren't getting as sick who are vaccinated, and that implies that they've got a lower viral load and will be shedding fewer viruses.

It's plausible that there is a vaccination rate that will stop the virus, and it's plausible that Fauci believes that.

Picture the smallest lie you have ever told. Now Picture the largest. Now picture your smallest immoral infraction, and likewise the largest. Now picture all the little white lies you have told at work. Why all humans suffer some degree of moral failing do they not?

Now Building from that, assume your life was on the line, and there was 30 trillion dollars in profits to be made. At what point would you realize you were compromised? Would you even admit it to yourself?

Now lets ask a more tangible Question. Whatever happened to the AIDS crisis?

A lot of people died. Eventually the antiretroviral drug combinations, by incremental improvements, got good enough that you could bring your viral load down to not always detectable, with initially minimal side effects. When you have to change them, you can start getting to those ones that affect your appetite and well-being.

It's still bad in parts of Africa where the availability of the drugs is restricted by insecurity or lack of medical infrastructure and/or records and/or education.

Now Fauci is an immunologist. He's advising one government overseeing 4% of the world. The pandemic is striking the other 96% of the world too. But the science that he's talking is the same as that being said in Europe, Japan, and Asia.

No an immune response doesn't damage your brain or organs. An immune response gets rid of pathogens infecting you. A child will respond to about 20,000 per day. In the general case, none of them damage the brain or organs. If they did it would be a pretty stupid immune reaction.
