How did the internet get to the point where it's either far left or 'whacked' to be the only voices allowed?

It seems only left wing news or far right whackos (or both) are on the air now.

The Trump rallies were jammed packed with normal American families that have jobs and don't cuss or swear up a storm just for laughs and giggles yet online you never see them post anything so based on 'alt news' comments you'd never know there WERE normal functioning families that aren't falling apart:

The comments look like escapees from a prison with an axe to grind and when you log out you get the more decent set which I suspect a lot of comments are being 'hidden' from view. Something VERY funny is going on and I'm not laughing either.

I could argue that readers' skin in the game has changed. How low time preference and low trust has change the median goal from prosperity and construction to deconstruction, decolonialism, decarbonation, and other destruction.

However, what by you is "far right whackos"? Because that sounds like something shills say. Their skin in the game is the kickback from controlling factions, not any ideal or ideology. Shills use the Overton Window as a framing device against people who are gullible enough to accept "left" and "right" as emotions they need to feel to understand.

Don't be gullible. There's no lesson to learn from comments other than the content. They aren't surveys, they're cork boards open to agents and bots. This is a lesson many of us learned long ago out of our enthusiasm for communication, on BBSes, IRC, and later image boards. The message matters.

I mean that outrage mobs and frustration circles are all part of the same emotional manipulation to keep people easy to corral, in motion without thinking, and away from constructive action.

As long as the conservative gets a sense of accomplishment and catharsis by watching Tucker and complaining on Facebook, they pose no actual threat.

Do you think all this 'outrage' and 'bombshells' is a game to keep conservatives focused on something so they won't take actual legislative actions by assuming 'someone else' is doing the justice when in fact NO justice is being done? The current distraction seems to me is that 'Trump' will be installed as President pending legal outcome of the stolen elections which they spread false rumors he's going to be in office in August when he never once said that was his goal and most likely will get an intern as President if it turns out Biden gets convicted.

Say any of that on (You name it) alt news site and you'll get blocked as a 'Libtard' or something.

China has it's own socialist base that go to the UN and have literally stated to depopulate us in one of their climate summits in the 90s. The elites have their own one world banking and controlling they want some mix and match while others strike out on their own to make their claim to fame. ALL have the EA Games 'f'k you' mindset. China is 'EA Games f'k you mindset you MUST buy our shitty products or you will disappear from society' where at least with the other elites they don't put a gun to you. Though they do make it VERY VERY hard to compete by working with the governments of the world to pass laws that favor them and NOT you the little guy whom the cost of regulations 145,146,147,148,149,150 is passed onto you and your workers.

EA Games elites all have a hundred lawyers ready to sue you and protect their own ass from the same regulations.

Money can be used to buy more insane people who control what is allowed to be viewed.

The average idiot believes whatever they're told, so the more crazy things they're told, the crazier they become.

What was originally a method to generate clicks and views for money has become a method for controlling and scaring large groups of idiots. Add voting and politics into the mix and you slowly get a generation of morons looking for morons to lead them.

The end of 4chan was the start of it all. The moment the higher ups realized that websites can be easily controlled the end of the road became this.

Unless some super-techno-thing is created to allow transfer of data anonymously in an easy to use format like reddit or twitter, without moderator control, things are going to continue to get worse.

Anybody else remember back in the old days when reddit and twitter didn't moderate what was "Trending"? Yeah. We will never get that utopia back if moderators are in charge. I've heard that maybe the answer is to have randomized mods where one day you suddenly gain mod privileges for the next 48 hours, then somebody else does, and so on.The danger with that is if it's rigged to appear random, or that the privileges granted can be instantly overruled by a secret moderator class above it that nobody knows about.

What will happen is the left that kisses to China (which owns the majority of the web and beyond) will hire these 'moderators' so all the 'random' mods will be ultra left or ultra left pretending to be right to crash that party.

At the end of the day, there's nothing currently capable of providing a solution to the problem. Any website can be shut down with ease. Any server created can be found and disabled.
