Well when I learned it in high school over forty years ago, it certainly helped me, and provided the incentive for me to study disinformation, propaganda, and covert persuasion on my own, for many years thereafter....but then that critical thinking class was not taught by leftist-libtard teachers, whose commie-socialist hidden agenda would be undermined by this, thereby giving them sufficient incentive to sabotage the course.
