Why didn't Trump get rid of/reduce or even mention the TSA/NSA.etc?

It started out as a 'temporary' measures to handle the terrorist problems but was meant to be rolled back when we go back to a 'peace' state. We haven't had any true terrorist attacks since though overseas have had a few 'fart bombs' go off from time to time.

They sold it as a temporary measure. I'm pretty sure this was the plan all along, for it to be permanent.

George W wasn't known for his intelligence, and the economy wasn't doing great. The apple industry needed to be bailed out around 2000 because they ruined Red Delicious apples with poor breeding. If you notice there's now a lot of apples cultivars with corporate ties. Stock markets tanked and had to be shut down after 9/11. In '05 The housing bubble fell apart, there was the subprime mortgage crisis, and then we went into The Great Recession. Oh yeah, and two very expensive wars were started.

Shutting down an agency that employs 50,000 people would hurt even in a good economy, but for a while finding a job was damn near impossible. Nobody was hiring.

Actually NOBODY should be bailed out. If a company is doing bad it should fail and someone with intelligence does something new and do it right. Apple was doing corrupt things long before the crash so it's a pretty bad example. All these companies are pretty much out to lunch with the public but most of the public is too dumb to connect the dots. Bailing a failing company out wont' stop them from failing but it will stop them for wanting to make any changes since they know nothing will affecting them if they kiss butt to those that feed them.
