I see this in reddit threads too. Instead of the bots having AI or generating conversation or comments, they simply copy-paste the entire already-existing comment tree from another thread on the same topic. Boom, instant "organic" conversation. And if those pre-made conversations align with their propaganda motives, then that makes it even easier for them. They just have to generate a controversial and alienating discussion once, and then just copy-paste it to every other thread about that same topic. Boom, forum population alienated with little work, hit job accomplished.
Sucks people feel the need to destroy and corrupt like this. The internet used to be such a nice place before all these content destroyers came along. Same as how 90% of my phone calls are from robots. People are openly and repeatedly abusing for profit what should instead be a public service.
