Allegedly.

Speedballing on both meth and Fentanyl? I'd like to know how much. Left over from last week or the last hour?

We could wonder whether he actually had the drugs on him or not as police like to plant things. Let's assume they are true. So fucking what? I used to do drugs responsibly and had a fuck tonne of fun. You can cross 3 of those out as "crimes" because of the ridiculous drug war.

The violence is much more concerning.

You don't know what his intentions were with his car. Maybe he was going to it to get more drugs - or to drop them off - or something completely different. Maybe he intended to drive or maybe not - but without knowing the amount and his intentions it's moot.

" and possibly kill your kid. "

Manufactured divisive racist fear porn bullshit.

I don't agree with you all the time, but credit where credit is due. Take my upvote.

Pretty much this. Drug prohibition is unamerican. If anything having to deal with those charges should earn him some sympathy.

And the claim that he is about to hit your kids is emotional manipulation bullshit.

Drugs rob you of your free will. They force you to stop doing what you love, and instead focus your life on obtaining more drugs. Nothing could be less American.

Weed is one thing, but jeez. There are some very dangerous drugs out there which were better off left undiscovered.

" Drugs rob you of your free will. They force you to stop doing what you love, and instead focus your life on obtaining more drugs. Nothing could be less American. "

That's not true.

Psychoactive drugs change your state of mind and perceptions. Not all bad. Chasing the good can be addictive and THEN if people can't control themselves then you have a problem. Most people aren't addictive. Further, Dr. Gabor Maté says that addictive people are running from something else and if they can address that then they can deal with the addiction.

Further evidence is Portugal where all drugs are decriminalized - and countless other nations where the "drug problem" is not remotely as severe as in the USA. There are MANY factors at play in the US - from Big Pharma to Cocaine Import Agency to Military Industrial Complex guarding poppy fields to Prison Industrial Complex to the socioeconomic and poverty pressures.

" There are some very dangerous drugs out there which were better off left undiscovered. "

Very true. So dangerous you might think they were weaponized.

The ME reported that he had 11 ng/mL and 19 ng/mL of meth in his blood at the time of death. That's a low dose of meth (so likely from days ago or something, I'm guessing), but therapeutic concentrations of fentanyl are limited to 0.63-2 ng/mL. https://www.drugs.com/illicit/fentanyl.html

Meth is a problem with addictive regular extreme usage. Truck drivers use it. Many occupations use it. It's speed, and is prescribed in various forms like Ritalin, Dexedrine, and Adderall, though I don't know if they'd show up. Meth is problematic for, among other reasons, it's unmeasured and unpure qualities possibly mixed with other things - unlike Big Pharma products that are supposed to be regulated.

From what I hear it's not as insane up and down with extreme highs and lows of cocaine, but after a few days without sleep it's all insane, regardless which drug. Its fun until it's not.

I wonder why they say fentanyl and not heroin cut with fentanyl? Are they pushing that agenda somehow? Is it a common substitute now? I thought it was killer dangerous.

Tbh there's a procedure to be followed. Even if you find a terrorist you don't crush his windpipe with your knee.

Edit: it seems my comment was factually incorrect. Going to leave this up anyway so I think twice before commenting.

[–]hennaojichan[S] 4 insightful - 3 fun4 insightful - 2 fun5 insightful - 3 fun -  (1 child)

Tbh, if you take a look at my earlier comments and posts, you will see that I agree with you—since the first day the news about Mr. Floyd came out. There is no need to read anything into my post. I have been all over this story from the beginning and today is the first time I have seen this information. Could it be that "the media" have been keeping this obscure? Oh, and I never called him a terrorist and I did not say his windpipe was crushed. He is more likely a victim, despite his record. You are making a huge assumption from my reporting of his record to schooling me that "there is a procedure to be followed."

[–]AntiLowEffortHuman 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Hey, just logged back in. I apologize for commenting on something I didn't know about. However, it's sad you thought i was 'schooling' you just from that one sentence. It's not like I had any context and one can't check the post histories of OPs of every single post.

Finally, I never called anyone a terrorist.

[–]dragonslayer 4 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 0 fun5 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Your statement "crush his windpipe" is flat out factual incorrect:

An autopsy conducted by the Hennepin County medical examiner stated there were “no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation,” but it did conclude that Floyd suffered from coronary artery disease, hypertensive heart disease and high blood pressure. Certainly, the meth, morphine and fentanyl didn’t help these conditions.

Floyd was a heart attack waiting to happen. Several arteries were 75% blocked and one was 90% blocked. Floyd also had an enlarged heart — “48% bigger than it ought to be” — which is a sign of impending heart failure.

Allegedly.

[–]Chipit 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Israelis created the technique and taught it to American police specifically because it doesn't crush the windpipe. It compresses the arteries, causing dizziness and possible unconsciousness. Let's stick to facts.

He held a gun to the belly of the pregnant woman, a lovely chap.

Technically, people on Meth actually tend to be pretty decent drivers.

[–]hennaojichan[S] 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (7 children)

I mentioned this before: if the fentanyl was injected into his butt surreptotiously when he was in the back of the cop car (and if the two parts of the video were not separated by much time) then we may have seen George Floyd die of an overdose on video. Getting the injection in the butt would make his body absorb it slowly, taking much longer to kill than an IV shot. This would explain why he seemed to get quieter during the nine minutes he was being knelt on. It would also explain why he couldn't breathe. Honestly I do not care if he was using cocaine and meth but armed robbery is quite another matter in my opinion. I think he was set up. Has anyone heard about the man and woman in the car with him? Why have we not heard about them?

[–]beermeem 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I hadn’t heard about any additional people. I hadn’t had much desire or time to look into the specifics of the case given what I’m doing with my life and the difficulties involved with where I’m doing it.

Everyone deserves due process. My only point in the other place I had posted this was that they were likely to do no better than Manslaughter. But given what’s happened in the last 24 hours, I think all that’s gone out the window now.

[–]Chipit 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Has anyone heard about the man and woman in the car with him? Why have we not heard about them?

If experience is any guide, there is a lot of bad news about them, otherwise they'd be being held up as eyewitnesses and heroes.

[–]JasonCarswell 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Very curious indeed. I suspect they don't fit either "side's" narrative and aren't politically valuable - or - as some suggest, this may be another manufactured psyop event and George is recovering from plastic surgery.

[–]hennaojichan[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

It's very possible he's in the Caribbean. The two could have been in on the setup to lure him in.

[–]JasonCarswell 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

This reminds me of the white guy subdued by a white cop until he passed out and died too (only a day or few later). Then a medic injected a tranq (allegedly) before moving his body to the ambulance, perhaps already dead, or perhaps now certainly soon to be dead with the lethal injection.

[–]hennaojichan[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

You sent me a link of that and they were joking about it. That was pretty disgusting. Yesterday I was way on the grumpy side. Rare for me.

[–]JasonCarswell 1 insightful - 3 fun1 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 3 fun -  (0 children)

No worries. Proves you're not a bot.

[–]Chipit 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

Eeesh. Boy, really could have done without that last part. "KILL UR KID WHAARRRRRGARBL". Come on, so juvenile. In fact, this reads just like a false flag meme created by the left to discredit the facts. Do it again and remove everything after "getting ready". And change "was killed" to "when the autopsy was performed, meth was found in his system".

[–]hennaojichan[S] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

Yes, that "kill your kid" was gratuitous and that is why I wrote the disclaimer saying I did not make this. I had never heard about his record so just posted it as it was. I should have redone it but will leave it since the damage is done.

What's your point

[–]beermeem 3 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 1 fun4 insightful - 2 fun -  (2 children)

Information is information. It doesn’t always need a point.

But the point I’ve been making with this information is that no jury will convict above manslaughter so be prepared for Floyd Riots II.

[–]daveeee 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

We've seen what juries are capable of! A lot depends on the lawyers involved too, and the judge's instructions to the jury. You could get an activist judge, no?

[–]beermeem 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

True. And apparently, it's been upped to second degree murder AND manslaughter. Maybe the prosecutors are just covering their bases. Dunno how all that works in Minneapolis.
