Why don't programming tutorials get to the point?

But isn't this typical of almost all How-To videos? The problem being that the presenter has no idea what they aredoing and so they focus on what they mistakenly believe the audience wants or is interested in. How many 20 minute videos have I had to sit through just to get the 15 second nugget of information that I actually need? Too fucking many.

Once in a long while a presenter comes along who is engaging and fun to watch/listen to in his own right. But they are very rare. Unfortunately most people assume they are just exactly the bight witty ray of sunshine and information that YouTube has been waiting for. And most people are wrong. Really fucking wrong.
