To paraphrase Abraham Lincoln, Bootstrap is library of modern scum, by modern scum, for modern scum. Bootstrap makes it impossible to debug CSS. I inherited some Bootstrap code and it was unmanageable until I had completely removed Bootstrap. Simple CSS is perfectly adequate for any website, and is easy to understand and maintain.
