    Actually, that doesn't solve your problem. If you've got the same software, you've got the same spyware.

    Modding the game to remove the tracking, however, would be fine.

      My point was that if you don't want to give money to people who disrespect your privacy, then you shouldn't pay for their games.

      I just wish they'd make civ 5 soon, we've had civ revolution 3 and 4 but they've always been mislabeled as civ 5 and 6 when I've seen them for sale...
