    I used to use Waterfox, but stopped using it when it was sold to System1, an advertising company which also bought startpage.com. I've also used Pale Moon and GNU Icecat in the past, but I'm back to Firefox official right now. The problem with Firefox forks is that they don't receive security updates as quickly as the official channel. Firefox is far from perfect, but with a few tweaks and extensions it's a secure and private browser.

    As for Chromium based browsers, I didn't care for Brave's UI. Vivalidi is closed source so I'm skeptical there, but Bromite (Android only) and ungoogled-chromium have worked well for me.
