because they're based on old FF code? I guess I'm seeing that palemoon is about speed not privacy.

They forked pre-Quantum mozilla-central to save XUL codes.

I miss the XUL extensions because the capabilities are far more superior than WebExtensions ones.

For example, Self-Destructing Cookies isn't developed anymore to be run in Firefox Quantum because of lack of WebExtensions API to control LocalStorage.

And they're actively removing the telemetry codes and having a plan to uproot more e10s codes.

Why is it "cucked"?

Waterfox is good too, but UXP development is more exciting and ambitious.

Waterfox is firefox with 'never remember history' defaulted and late security updates.

How is palemoon (or basilisk) 'cucked' and somehow waterfox not? palemoon runs great on low spec system that can't handle the latest firefox anymore.

Edit: and waterfox features BING, aka the dev gets money from microsoft, why else would he do this?

waterfox features ecosia, not bing, rofl. aka ur fakenews

and waterfox remembers history by default, squished another piece of fakenews.

and the palemoon/basilisk dev has been known to block some plugins over false/stupid reasons, lol

Just installed it, it defaults to bing... ecosia is one of the 'search-engine' options but not the default.

and waterfox remembers history by default

You're right here, but I'm not sure how that's a good thing regarding privacy (from the settings page):

Waterfox will remember your browsing, download, form and search history, and keep cookies from websites you visit.

I misread the waterfox page and they were only boasting about their 'privacy' tab.

and the palemoon/basilisk dev has been known to block some plugins over false/stupid reasons

Not supporting is something different from blocking and for palemoon speaking it doesn't follow Mozilla's line of code for a long time so it's a valid reason to not support their plugin standards.
