Doctors, not software companies, should monitor your health.
I will agree that a digital interface to allow you to view your digitally-stored records is not a bad idea.
HOWEVER
If the doctor or his staff give up on using the telephone, or even snail mail, because all they know how to do for their jobs is use their magic system instead of the telephone or snail mail, then they deserve to be out of business.
Sacrificing patient care to make the office staff's life easier is the opposite of patient care.
