run tails (implies torbrowser), never enable scripts, only use protonmail (there is an onion address for it) or tutanota. use https everywhere, noscript, ublock origin, privacy badger plugins... never use wi-fi or bluetooth, use a shielded cat6 utp cable instead..

you can even install an em shielding foil on your windows to prevent remote eavesdropping. the banks etc do this.

encrypt your filesystems and use strong passwords..

but all this is meaningless if you then login to a service that can id you in any way, so: no google, microsoft, amazon, twitter, facebook, adobe, etc accounts or services. ever. no google chrome, no opera (china), no brave browser (closed source), no making appointments, no medical records, no internet banking or online shopping of any kind. ever. do not open pdf documents in your browser, etc.

but you can go further, eg i read once that rms used to browse the web by not clicking on links in a html document, but instead pasting the url into an email and sending it to an email2web relay server. then he would receive the requested web page in an email. :-)

Thanks. Brave is open-source, though.

i think using vpn and tails at the same time is not recommended (see r/tails for more info). most vpn providers sell their data.
