free vpn is worse, imo.

When you use a vpn, ALL your traffic goes through their bottleneck. And whoever owns that bottleneck, also has your real IP. Very dangerous, imo. Literally giving some random people total access to all your traffic, with your real IP label on it

That'd be a good criticism if we were making any money, but we're actually taking a loss every month that d3rr and I pay out of pocket

    It's not a criticism as much as an observation. The criticism will come when this site gains popularity and you sell your soul to some jew like putt.
