I'm pretty sure I've heard her express regret, and I can totally understand someone who believed in the military, and served in it, would not be as quick while in service to understand the turning tides regarding that war.

Her whole platform is about the wrongness of interventionist wars, and that she learned that first hand during her service there. 20/20 hindsight is a thing.
