I use DuckDuckGo and Startpage - I'll usually just use SP for random searches, but if I'm researching, I use both - as both show VASTLY different results.
To be fair some of the real eye popping stuff is what I find on duckduckgo after using startpage (after using google to establish a baseline for my results).

Yes, I admit that google is useful for research. I haven't tried Startpage but will. Now I have to read what you say about Graham Hancock that I see below.
