Ghislaine Maxwell is connected to Donald Trump through her association with Jeffrey Epstein. According to the book Trump in Exile: In the nineties, before he became a convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein was frequently seen at Mar-a-Lago partying with Trump, and it was at Mar-a-Lago that Ghislaine Maxwell found Virginia Giuffre – who would later accuse Epstein and Maxwell of trafficking her to several men for sex – working as a spa attendant. Trump and Epstein eventually had a falling out over a real estate deal in Palm Beach just weeks before allegations against Epstein went public, according to The Washington Post.

They went to the same charity events. That's about it. Trump learned of his(and her?) illegal escapades and stopped contact, then Trump publicly outed Epstein on TV, "I hear he likes them young."

Did Trump learn of the illegal activities before or after the 2016 lawsuit where he and his friend were both named as defendants together, the lawsuit that accused him of raping a 13 year old girl?
