Alcohol is a much, much, much, infinitely more dangerous drug to keep legal than pot.

The stoner friends I used to associate with are all still alive while my heavy-metal drunkard friends enjoy a vigorous 60% survival rate.

Hiya Dave, welcome to the forum.

There shouldn't even be any talk of keeping anything legal. This is America not some God forsaken British nanny state.

If I want to pop the hatch of my tank to have a smoke and shoot up heroin that is my God given right as an American citizen.

But if that needle full of Horse makes you need to commit crimes to do continue to so, that's a problem, we cannot have it, nor should you need to collect from anybody to get that Horse.

A drug like Heroin makes it almost impossible to be self-sufficient enough to sustain Heroin use so that's a social issue. Alcohol abuse makes it almost impossible to be self-sufficient to sustain alcohol abuse so that's a social issue, you don't have a right to waste your gifts on a life of chasing the dragon.

The things you have a right to are the things that edify and protect you, God doesn't give us life so that our gifts can be squandered, the words you attribute to our God Creator are false and blasphemous and you shouldn't allow falsehoods to escape from your tongue regarding our Good Lord.

All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

God and me are bros, Dave. Bros. We're tight.

I don’t believe the state should be regulating substances. However, I do think that regular use of THC is destructive.

I don't mind if you do it in your own house or whatever, just don't do it in public where I can smell weed as it smells like shit.

I do feel bad about the stank. My apologies Woody. 🙏🏻

That's alright. Apology accepted.

We should view alcohol like transgenderism lol.

Transgender ideology is infinitely more destructive than alcohol, and that’s saying quite a bit.

After smoking for 47 years I quit and I'll tell you why. If THEY are tampering with our food, they for sure are tampering with the weed. I don't miss smoking one bit!

Howdy Miss, welcome to the forum.

You can vape 95% pure thc or another cannabinoid analog right now and the only other thing in there is terpenes. Although yeah, I agree, bud is probably contaminated too. I don't think it's on purpose though.

I quit for years but my wife had me take it up again, said it makes me calmer. I don't know if I need it anymore, the reason I was high strung is gone.

It's good to make it illegal, so you can arrest idiots before they commit worse crimes. Look at crime skyrocketing since.

Wow, the most insane shit for brain comment I've see all month.

Alcohol is at the root of so many more crimes though, why does it get off scot-free?

Can't stop it. Happens when you put anything with calories in a bottle for long enough. Its not that they wouldn't love that control, its that they physically can't have that control.

They tried 100 years ago with prohibition. It turns out it's way too entrenched into our social culture to effectively ban, and no way to starve a supply chain of materials to make it.

It is illegal when driving. They smell alcohol on you, you get arrested.

Any educated person will point out the statistics proving cannabis is not a gateway drug, alcohol and tobacco is far more deadly than cannabis but the shit for brains have the first amendment so they can babble all they like.

In Sunday sermon Dan Patrick says that if Christians don't fight, 'we lose'

Texas' lieutenant governor delivered the message at Houston's Second Baptist Church on Mother's Day, telling the congregation that the country is “under attack."

The Republican Southern Baptist told the SBC-affiliated megachurch that the nation is "under attack from true Marxist socialists," whom he alleges believe in government over God. These sort of folk, Patrick continued without evidence and without being more specific, want to "get rid of the family and get rid of God and make government everyone's family and everyone's God.

This is the kind of religious extremism you get with the Republican party, and now they'll rob the 99% to pay the .01%, while making an American Taliban across the US, banning drugs, human rights, &c.
