You don't realize that Asians are discriminated against by elite universities such as Harvard.

My wife is Asian, and she was discriminated against. I feel we are owed some money.

This is what the CRT folks had in mind when they started the culture war, right?

[–]WoodyWoodPecker 2 insightful - 3 fun2 insightful - 2 fun3 insightful - 3 fun -  (2 children)

CRT says that white people cannot be discriminated against. It is pure bullshit!

Does it seriously say that? I've tried to look up this whole CRT thing, but all I can find is outragebait of people talking about it in vague, mad, ways.

That is what I get told by CRT experts on the Internet.

Generally people who have appropriated other people's suffering, or have latched on to the cause like a parasite.

as long as the department of education isnt abolished. i think geting rid of DEI isnt necessarily bad in some places. but some places are inherently racist. like the southern yankees in america.

[–]PsychoTranyRedditMod 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

Agreed, but that's their plan.

The part I don't like about this DEI stuff is it's designed in a way to maximize dysfunction and resentment. It's like it's done this way on purpose so it fails, and they can scrap everything just like they initially wanted.

Btw, I don't think fanning the flames of racial tension is going to make our "deep south" or anywhere else for that matter, less racist.

i think it was mean to ensure that educated ethnic people dont get shafted for a white person. and also to have representation of that race in the process of making decisions for that company. it means a lot when its medical, it doesnt mean a lot when they hire uneducated professionals in medical just because they are ethnic. like i said, it can be good. if done right.

It's not being done right, and what they are doing is ignoring the underlying problems, and ultimately making things worse.

[–]blackvoodoowhitesnow 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

how are things worse? also, having black doctors is absolutely necessary to helping black people. as for things like ceos of companies, honestly they dont care about us simple folk anyway. how would they do better being "qualified" for the same job? youre just projecting. imo.

[–]PsychoTranyRedditMod 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

They discriminate against better qualified people in order to meet their racial quota. Consider the example of a GPA of 3.7 is required if you're white, but 3.3 if you're black. This lends to the credibility to the theory that black people (genetically) are not as intelligent, and usually those opinions are from deep-seated racism, but predominately black areas are overall poorer and have lesser quality education. That is definitely a contributing factor for the differences, which begs the question, is environment the sole cause, or do genetics play a significant role?

To isolate the variables for better control, it would require giving everybody, including poorer neighborhoods access to a good education, and not using race as a factor at all when hiring later on, and we eliminate biases this way. Of course, that is too much investment so they would rather keep cutting education and blaming our hiring disparities on "racism".

well in Connecticut Frederick Douglas shocked the state when he proved that black people were intelligent, and could read and write, and subsequently give lectures on freedom and the plight of the black slave. It's literally what helped start the Civil War and the Norths idea that the southern yanks were just monsters on the farm. I'd like to point out, that the south is a right butt hurt asshole when it comes to it. They cut all industries from New England and laugh about it. New England buys into it because by the time the war ended the mormon movement had taken place, and the gold rush was catching on in the Northern States of the East as well. This left a lot of people to move out west, and down south to help rebuild. what they saw was laws against the blacks. At this time there were no laws inhibiting black people or natives in new england. there were school segregations, but that was not a legal thing, it was a private attitude. The south had real laws, and even still does. The ideas of black inferiority spread to boston with the irish rebels, and the italians pretty much didnt give two shits. They have private attitudes towards this idea rather than actual laws. So laws were thought of, and enacted to help counter any fears of racial discrimination. I agree, it totally dumbs down the top, or does it? Are 3.3gpa individuals allowed in TOP positions? No, you need better grades to get into Masters schools, and advanced learning like doctors. For example, look up medical malpractice lawsuits. How many doctors (who need at least a 3.5gpa on EVERYTHING) are white? Im not asking for a ratio, im asking does it happen. the answer is YES. So it doesnt matter if you have a 3.3 gpa student looking at your cancer screening when a 2.7gpa student could actually do that job too. What positions are they vying for? because it aint matter if your are a doctor, you can still screw up. I think the real problem is there is little to no oversight. There needs to be OVERSIGHTS. that is the only way to combat ALL corruption. then you gotta oversight the oversight. the revolving door theory or anti-corruption.

We need equal oppertunities at a young age, and not this DEI bandaid applied unfairly and only to adults. They don't want to do that because it's expensive, and does not show immediate results. A generation or two down the line will be the ones reaping the benefits.
