When I was in Vegas last month I would watch TV while the Mrs. was getting ready... Every commercial break had at least one pharma ad. Terrible. I think this is a great idea.

Okay, but how many people really even watch basic network (or cable) TV anymore? Just about everyone and their dog is streaming everything now, so would the ban apply to the streaming networks too (and would it further extend to things like YT)?

Yeah, pharma advertising is regulated in Canada on YouTube. No direct-to-consumer prescription meds.

The target market for these ads still very much swatches broadcast TV. Old people.

this is so unimportant besides for saving the pharma companies money thaty they can then give to the consumer. o fcourse they would never do that because they are greed y ass holes.
