Ron DeSantis passes the death penalty for pedophiles in Florida, and the alphabet people screech, "We've got to get out of Florida!" What an Odd Thing to Say. Personally I am not seeing the downside of striking fear into the black hearts of child abusers.

It would have been based if not for the fact that this is just a publicity stunt that is going to get struck down by the supreme court if they actually try to enforce it (see Kennedy v. Louisiana). Nothing but optics.
