Students are morons - absolute morons - who should not be allowed to vote at all. Well not students specifically but anyone under the age of 25 or 30. 25 should be the absolute minimum age to vote. It wasn't as bad when the students would vote anti-war but now they are all pro-WWIII so that usefulness is out the window.

Maybe we should bar old people from voting because they won't be around to feel the consequences of their choices.

I agree with that too. If I was setting the rules, you'd vote at age 25 through 64. No one else gets to vote, and of those, you also have to pay some level of tax, maybe $5,000 per year. This is off the cuff, I'm not sure about that. And honestly, you should have to answer correctly 2 of 3 questions to be able to vote, simple but important questions like what are the 3 branches of government, how many states comprise the USA, and Who was one of the first 3 Presidents of the United States?
