House passes Parents Bill of Rights, as enraged Dems level wild charges against it. Right to know what’s being taught in schools and see reading materials, Right to be heard, Right to see school budgets and spending, to protect your child’s privacy, to be notified of any violent activity at school.

To avoid 'sidism', I'd note that my criticism of orcs is not an implicit claim that Dems are so much better. But I'd argue that Dem policies and bills have shown them not to be the evil demons the GOP are, with the exception of a few traitor Dems. So, partial sidism....

The Democrats were the ones moreso censoring and shutting down opposition and demanding big government and socialism. Until recently, now they both do it to the same degree.

They've not had the ability, interest or power to do this

Demonrats normally want the opposite: voting rights act, equal rights act (HR5 in 2021), social programs to support the poor (which I don't always agree with), cleaner environment, clean water, support for Ukraine, healthcare, medicare, social security, good education programs, a decent legal system, etc etc - all of the approaches attacked by the GOP
