This is your standard Motte-and-bailey logical fallacy.

Abortion is about killing babies, it is a common logical fallacy trick to pretend it is about something else, some woman's desire to do drugs or her inconvenience due to the consequences of her consensual actions. There is a need to strip women of ALL responsibility of conception, to ensure this. There are desperate attempts to ensure any corner cases, such as rape victims, are highlighted in the fallacy of totality, where every solution must cover every possibility or be wrong. There can be no special cases.

We only give the death penalty to murderers and this is about murdering a baby. People would like to trick you into thinking it is about anything else but baby murdering.
