What struck me the most about Wayne's responses, is how intelligent he was. His deep experiences in Hollywood and the world gave him a wisdom usually not associated with him, especially his two-fisted hard-drinking screen persona, which was not far from his real personality.

Yes his worst film, I've known about it for a long time. Studio system actors generally did not get to pick which films they were in.
