I'm not against preventing minors from doing this, but 26? This isn't consistent with any of our other legal standards of adulthood. If youre old enough to get drafted and join the military, or get tried as an adult in a court of law, you are clearly responsible for yourself by society's standards, and ought be old enough to do all the other adult stuff.

Can we please have a consistent standard of what the fuck an adult is?

Our other standards of adulthood are stupid. 18 is a fucking baby now.

Yeah, theres the whole brain matures at 25 thing, I'm not discounting that or the greater complexity of navigating modern society. It's the inconsistency and arbitrariness of all of it that irks me

It looks like the world has decided that we've heard enough of this training b******* we're not listening to it anymore you're not going to give puberty blockers to our children you're not going to cut the breasts off of young girls you're not going to do any of that s*** anymore it's all going to be cleaned out so be hurt we don't give a s***

Personally I'd like to start running a home clinic where I could inject children with drugs and I could do surgery on them with basic tools that I get from the home Depot I could hook an air pump up to their a****** and blow them up make them fat because fat is trendy today right that's what I'm saying you know what I can make a little slit in their chest put the air pump in there blow up some titties right that'd be nice I could take a syringe full of silicone caulking and pump their penis up with it I can do penis enlargements for children what do you think about that you know for the students that really really really want it and we shake on it and we say we're double sure I'll cut their penis off I will cut a young lady's breasts off God I'm going to be so rich

Sorry, you can't harm yourself. No suicide. No "mercykilling" which morphed into murder by the state of elderly, people who went to hospital. No abortion

[–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

You know what? Suicide may be selfish but so are you if you think this way.

[–]JohnRaymond 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Suicide is objectively a mortal sin. A mortal sin lands you in hell. You're a naturalist.

[–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

"Objectively" according to your subjective definition. And it lands you in the place we're already in.

Obviously there is a real morality. But that doesn't mean you are always right about it. What makes you so superior that you can never be wrong and should basically own everyone because you're perfect? Isn't that just the excuse every human being uses in its quest for power?

[–]JohnRaymond 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Objectively refers to grave matter. A mortal sin must be grave matter, but the person must have knowledge and consent to committing it. No one can judge last 2. So getting an abortion is mortal sin, objectively. A woman might have been tied down and forced... She committed no sin

[–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

The brain fully matures at 25. One of the last things to mature is the prefrontal cortex which is for better risk management and capabilities for long-term planning, aka decision making,

    [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

You're just going to make the age of majority higher and higher until it's back to everyone being under the elites' authority.

Are we just going to go back to "people aren't smart enough to make their own decisions, so the nobles should control everyone"? Why does everyone want this now? What the fuck is happening to people? Have you lost all common sense and dignity? Are you so brainwashed by the school system and media? Everyone is acting like an NPC.

Obviously. The problem is we need a working treatment and preferrably a cure. Whether that's by altering the brain or the body I don't think matters.

The current treatments don't work well enough but they might still help someone feel a little bit better. But telling them it's a magic pill is just giving them false hope.

You shouldn't be banning something simply because you disagree with it. Everyone now thinks no one should be allowed to think differently or have a different opinion or even preference than them, and that the state should enforce it. I don't know where all of this is coming from but it can't be good.

      [–]DONKEYBALOGNA 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

the trans movement is grooming children that are in the first grade they are sitting there grooming children that are 6 years old about their gender identity which ends up with them taking puberty blocker medication that alters their puberty cycles basically legislators have said f*** that and they've set the limit at 25 good

Well if you're Catholic you should listen to Jesus...who doesn't like any of these phony religious institutions.

      [–]JohnRaymond 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

Jesus founded Catholic church. He who hears you, hears me

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

The Catholic Church did not exist until decades after his time. In fact no one from the apostolic age ever saw it. It was created in the late first century or early second century when religious infiltrators took over, and even then it would be centuries until it resembled today's Catholic church.

      [–]JohnRaymond 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Jesus founded a church that would last til end of time, with Peter the first head on earth. Why don't you give me name and city of this Church.

Readers: he can't. This claim is commonly made, and is absolutely bizarre. Even secular historians recognize papacy, going straight back to Peter.

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Secular historians don't think the papacy goes back to Peter. Most Christians don't believe that. I question whether he was even a real person, because I noticed pretty much all the disciples have names that mean something that disciple seems to represent. For example, Judas is clearly playing the role of the kingdom of Judah. Note that "Judas" is a mistranslation based on the Greek translation of the real name, which is Judah. The only disciples who I think were definitely real people are John the Baptist and Paul. Also James the Just, and the Talmud actually records his title being James the GNOSTIC. All references to Peter in Galatians 1-2 seem to have been added by later scribes (and for the record I figured this out before thinking Peter may not have been a literal person).

There's also the problem that the event you mention doesn't clearly establish Peter as a pope. It could just as easily be a message to Peter that he should evangelize. "You are a rock, and on this rock I build my assembly". Note that the word "church" is also an intentional mistranslation. The original Hebrew also specifies that binding and loosing refers to oaths, but that's questionable considering that the Jews who copied it over the centuries didn't regard it as holy and made "improvements" wherever they pleased. However the main reason scribes make minor edits is to clarify something confusing, and being Jews they likely understood something we don't about that culture.

Peter's assembly doesn't have a name or city. It's everywhere.

      [–]JohnRaymond 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

You're utterly wrong on secular sources. Here's one https://www.ranker.com/list/complete-list-of-popes/coffee-junkie

Jesus and apostles spoke Aramaic. You dismiss the church Fathers without a mention. Jesus said His Church would not be overcome by gates of hell which mean heresy.

So you can't name the church, its doctrines, where it is, any characteristics except vague its everywhere. Convenient.

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

The Catholic church itself is everywhere. And that website may be secular but that specific post is definitely Catholic, or at the very least about Catholic theology. The author doesn't sound like a historian either.

      [–]JohnRaymond 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Catholic Church is everywhere, but tiny remnant. 200k, not 1.2 billion.

If you don't think great majority of secular historians don't trace papacy back to Peter, you need to immerse yourself in history. People who immerse themselves in history often become Catholic.

      [–]Dragonerne 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

If they don't like us making laws on how they MUST act, then maybe they should consider the golden rule: treating us how they themselves want to be treated.

Leftists have made it clear that they want to be treated by an authoritarian system, because that's how they're treating us. It's only fair. Eye for an eye.

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

You really think revenge is more important than saving us from absolute tyranny? You'd seriously rather harm innocent people just to spite an enemy?

You're not following the golden rule yourself. And by your breaking it you're giving them the same excuse to keep doing what they're doing.

      [–]Dragonerne 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

I am treating others how I want to be treated. They and you can't complain about leftists being treated exactly how they are treating others. Why would you complain about that? By breaking the golden rule, they're giving up their ability to complain.

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

I can't believe you'd destroy everything just to see an enemy crushed. This isn't about them.

      [–]Dragonerne 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I'm not destroying anything. You are protecting them, yet they treat others exactly like they're being treated. I wish and hope that they'll repent and see the error of their ways, and learn to live by the golden rule, like Christians do.

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I'm not protecting them. You're just angry and looking for excuses to burn it all down so you can take them down with you. That's not what the golden rule says to do, and certainly not the Christian understanding of it.

      [–]Dragonerne 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

They suffer the consequences of their own actions

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

This logic literally flies in the face of Christian ethics. Especially since you're willing to destroy everything just to have your revenge.

      [–]clownworlddropout 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (7 children)

That's a reasonable age. They should do the same for all cosmetic surgery and cut the legs out from under the meat-mâché market.

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (6 children)

What the fuck is happening to you guys? 3 years ago authoritarianism was your biggest enemy, and now you're rooting for it too? What is wrong with everyone? God help us.

      [–]clownworlddropout 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Age-gating isn't authoritarian, you think kids should smoke and drink? Hit up the strip clubs?

People are being exploited by an industry that preys on their insecurities and only offers empty promises, age-gating access to it until people have fully matured is the responsible thing to do.

It'd be authoritarian to ban it outright, but I believe adults should be able to make their own decisions about how they live their own life.

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 3 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 0 fun4 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

But hardly anyone is an adult by these standards. If we go up to 26, soon it'll be 30, then 35, then 45, then we'll just go back to "peasants aren't mature enough to make their own decisions".

      [–]clownworlddropout 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

Slippery slope fallacy. The prefrontal cortex is fully developed by 25, there's no reason why we'd redefine adulthood beyond prefrontal cortex maturation.

Also, it's interesting to note that puberty blockers halt the maturation of the prefrontal cortex but is used primarily as a way for the victim of gender ideology to circumvent age restricted "treatments," despite them not truly coming of age due to the effects of the puberty blockers.

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

Then we're going to find something that peoples' brains are only 99% developed before age 30, then 35, then 40, then 50, then the elites will decide they should just take over and run our lives because they're smarter than everyone else.

      [–]clownworlddropout 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

Do you ever watch some of the videos of people that go crazy with with plastic surgery oh my God it really gets off the off the charts but what we're really tired of today is these people with a mental disorder that they called gender dysphoria wanting to teach first graders about gender identity children in the first grade definitely do not need to be groomed regarding their gender identity they need to be shown you go in the boys room and you go in the ladies room and that's the end of the story

You cannot name 1 Catholic, besides me, or give me the address of 1 Catholic church. You're absolutely illiterate on this

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (5 children)

Polycarp could be considered the first Catholic. The story goes that he came across Marcion's gospel and collection of Paul's letters, and added loads of crap to them to make them fit his theology. In the process he also wrote Acts and the pastoral epistles, and thus his vision of a religious institution was born. Gone were the days of house churches and personal revelations; churches would now be formal gatherings, and every member would be subject to a defined hierarchy. His student Irenaeus did the same. Though these were still more orthodox than Catholic.

Then we have Constantine, who expanded the Catholic church's influence and used government power to suppress any and all opposition. He essentially founded the modern Catholic church and its ties with Rome.

And I obviously know who Pope Francis is.

I also know that the Vatican has a private library. I know it's not actually secret, but apparently there are secret levels that no one but high church officials are allowed to access. And that means they're probably hiding all the lost writings and records in there.

      [–]JohnRaymond 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

I was talking about today. You can't name 1 present day Catholic or location of one Catholic institution. My point is you have no idea what is going on with Catholic Church today or last several decades. You're illiterate. But you attack her. Common.

First Catholics were apostles, disciples of Christ

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I just explained to you the history of the early church. And I already named a Catholic (and no it wasn't you).

I also know that the Vatican is located in Vatican City, which is actually a tiny country within Rome.

      [–]JohnRaymond 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I reread my question. It was ambiguous. So let me state what is happening in Catholic Church. Great apostasy. Rome isn't Catholic, neither is Francis or his church. They ARE helping new world order. A tiny remnant are Catholic. Very few. Communists kicked Catholic Church to the curb in 1960s. We have not taken back rome.

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (1 child)

I don't trust many of the historical "saints" either. Especially not people who have a lot of blood on their hands like Constantine.

The correct thing to do is to ban gender destroying care for anyone any age. Same reason why attempted suicide is considered a crime. No right to self harm.

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (4 children)

Because everyone is a slave and must assimilate into the NPC society. Then no one will have the brains to threaten the matrix system or even the big brother within it.

You and most of the world need to stop with this idea that you somehow own everyone else. It's always been around but the west was going in the right direction for a while. I don't know what's causing this relapse.

      [–]LynchTheGroomers 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (3 children)

I don't get y'all niggas. You don't want to ban anything and then you complain about things that you don't want to ban are happening. This degeneracy is the inevitable result of "do what makes you feel good we don't want to tell people what to do -" logic. Then you got no right to complain about grooming and trans people and prostitution and addiction etc. It's the "freedom" you wanted. If you all you do is complain and don't want to ban it, you'll stay complaining forever.

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (2 children)

I don't complain about those things. I complain when people want to force things on others.

That either means you're not happy with any country in the world or you're 100% satisfied with the current state therefore you don't want anything to change. Both of which are unrealistic.

      [–]VulptexVoluntaryist[S] 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (0 children)

It's not self-harm though, it's harm inflicted by a medical professional, which is far worse.

How the hell can 'bottom surgery' on adults ever be considered ethical, let alone cutting the breasts off a teenager? What happened to 'do no harm'?

These aren't minor cosmetic surgeries, these are brutal procedures with long painful recovery periods, and the risk of very unpleasant or poentially life-threatening complications.

If the medical profession had stood up to activists, maintained reasonable gatekeeping, only considered these extreme measures to treat the most rare and extreme cases of gender dysphoria, then we wouldn't need politicians to step in and try to ban procedures outright.

But instead we have 'top surgery' scars being glamourised and even included as a feature in The Sims...

I'm torn. I definitely feel like no one under 18 should be given opposite-sex hormones or surgery, but 26? I would say, either allow folks to get hormones and eventually surgery at 18, or just ban hormones and bottom surgery all together.

Given how messed up the results of bottom surgery often are (pain, wounds that never heal, weird complications, drainage), maybe no one should be getting this surgery. You can't do to the human body what these surgeons are claiming, anyway. And the ones who regret the surgery regret the $#@! out of it.

Some people really do need it. The problem is false advertising.

I'm going to tell you what I've been telling everyone else: you disagreeing with something isn't grounds to criminalize it. I thought we knew this and were better than this. Not anymore apparently.

But if the surgery is innately harmful and the tissue in question isn't infected or harboring a tumor, why cut into it? And as the issue is with the person's perception of their naturally male or female body, this seems more like a psychological issue that needs therapy, not a physical one that needs surgery.

I get that this may be a sensitive issue for you, Vulptex. And you have my sympathy and my concern. But honestly, man, look at the de-trans testimonies. And the things that can go wrong with this surgery are startling. Life-changing, but in all the wrong ways. The ones who regret it, regret it big-time, and may even consider killing themselves.

I'm on the fence. I'm not sure that this should be outlawed, but I really don't think a kid should be able to get access to this stuff. If they're not old enough to get a tattoo, get married, consent to sex with an adult, or go to war, they shouldn't be old enough to go on T or E or get top or bottom surgery.

That's not even the point. We want to make everyone under 26 a minor now? When does it end? Even 18 seems a little old to me. I have zero doubt that this is just a frog boiling slowly until we're all under the absolute authority of the elites.

They're using the trans crap to introduce slippery slope.

How else could they get people to go along with laws that allowed govt to decide what medical treatment is appropriate for them and their children?

And now these people are using it to introduce the same slippery slope, just in a different way. People aren't adults until they're 26 now...oh now it's 35...now it's 50...okay only the elites are adults.
