I think a lot of the reasons are excuses. The simple fact is, at least in corporate member (I've been working in corporate America for 20 years), men (specifically white men) are being told they're not wanted. Corporations outright talk about not hiring more white men to their face. There's absolutely no shame in saying they want to get rid of white men and hire more people of color and or women. Bonus if they're alphabet people. You're bombarded all the time with DEI courses, all of which tell you that you, as a white man, are the problem and we need to have special courses every year to establish how to report you when you ultimately step out of line, despite statistics to back up that it's specific to one demographic. Is it really so hard to imagine that a portion of these men just give up and make an excuse to stay at home with the kids? Or take disability or unemployment?

Who is John Galt?

The women are driving them out of the workplace for being too mean. I left it the way I found it.

I simply avoid the overly emotional at work....men included.

People who think with their emotions are not intelligent.

My wife scored 110 on her IQ test. She makes emotional decisions all the time. She is also extremely extroverted. I think there are genetic predispositions to personality, and then you're raised by that and it only becomes further engrained. Females do it, males mimick it because they think it'll get them laid.

The obvious trend seen in this data is that low skill jobs have became worthless. Skilled jobs are still paying poorly.

Where did all these wage gains that are driving inflation go to?

It looks like instead of outsourcing all the jobs, we systematically imported all the low-wage immigrants, flooding the low skill work force, dragging the low wage worker value.
