Your question is based on a false premise. The Chinese are happy to build empty cities with skyscrapers and let them rot, if The Correct Thinking changes for any reason. Why would they not let the camps fall into neglect?

That, or the wrongthinkers will still be sent to the camps.

It worked on a surface level, but unless the chinese keep at it all this will do is motivate their government to find new ways to shut down movements more quickly. Like antibiotics if you stop early you just create something worse

You mean like they always have? Communism is imperialist and intent and effect by its own standards. It is German in its origin and therefore racist to the core by its own standards. It was forced on the east by Western imperialism. That’s why Russia is justified in liberating every white NATO terrorist ethnostate with the use of military force.

That's not that big of an issue for a totalitarian communist government with mass surveillance ability. Even backwater North Korea can easily round up your whole family and kill them, or toss them in a concentration camp, simply for your egregious sin of leaving.

They do murder people through capital punishment and there used to be a lot of assassinations among the Chinese elite.

The deep state, however, does massacre their own people (9/11, Pearl Harbor, Waco Massacre, COININTELPRO, MK Ultra, the pedo pandemic, bioweapon experiments, etc.). Yet, people protest in America all the time.

Government massacres and protests don't really go hand in hand.

My friend the source you cite as authoritative has no question about the fact of a massacre around the square...

In order to hold onto the $5,000 you will need to geofence a shape inside which you believe there were zero deaths. Then if anyone finds a death outside of your shape, you can point to the geofence as why you aren't paying the 5k. If I were you, I would basically start with a box around the tanks and army dudes in the square, that way no deaths are probable within your box

They already have social credit scoring, movement tracking and 'vaccine' passports to they did indeed use to stop travel of protesters, along with a reputation for making dissidents disappear - but still the people protested and made them back down.

That gives me hope.

There were no vaccine passports, but there were "COVID-testing" passports which was combined with QR code tracking
